Some women apply eye liner when they put on their daily make up. The eyes liner goes underneath the eyes on the bottom. This can give your eyes a dark smoky look. If you combined them with mascara and the right color eye shadow. But sometimes that is not the effect they go for. Eye liner is tricky because it can smear and it can run when you don’t want it to. There are three types of eye liner, the eye liner pencil, liquid eye liner and powdered eye liner.

Eye liner pencils stay on the eyes longer than the other two types. They give the eyes a softer touch, they also add definition to your eyes, and if you draw along the lash line on top you can get the most amount of eye definition. Crème liner or powdered can be used wet or dry. You can put it on straight from the container for a more concentrated look or you can add water for a fluid look. It dries quickly and it streak resistant.

Then there is the standard liquid liner, with the brush you can make thin lines or thicker what ever your preference is. Some brands are smudge resistant but some just don’t smudge as much. Choose the style that is best for you, if you want something clean then the pencil is best for you. Choose a look you want o achieve and that can determine which type of liner is best for you.
